About Paulene Jean-Baptiste, NP
Paulene Jean-Baptiste is extensively trained as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Serenity Mental Health Centers. She joined Serenity in January of 2022. Paulene employs a patient-centered approach that is collaborative between herself and her patients and is built on mutual trust and understanding.
Paulene earned her associate degree in nursing from Suffolk County Community College in 2008. She then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2020. Most recently, she has been awarded her PMHNP certificate from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Paulene has a gift for compassion and understanding, which is why caring for others brings her so much satisfaction. With many people close to her dealing with mental illness she has dedicated her life to the help and lifting of others.
Paulene offers medication management, ketamine therapy, TMS, and many other therapy options that are specialized to each of her patients.
When she is away from work Paulene enjoys vacations with her three daughters, husband, and dog.

Paulene is the absolute BEST! She is friendly, understanding, patient, explains everything well, and is phenomenal at making myself and I’m sure a ton others feel heard. I would drive an hour to come see her if I had to, she makes everything feel so un-intimidating.
I’ve had a wonderful experience with Serenity since 2019/2020. Prior to moving offices & seeing Marie, I completed TMS in the Gilbert office. My TMS treatment was 6 weeks & resulted in over 3 years medication free for anxiety and depression. To go from nearly 10 years of medication and nearly daily panic attacks to no panic and no meds was life changing for me. I now see Marie to keep up on my mental health and I love her calming presence. I also have two children 2 and under that I bring along with me everywhere - the office staff is always so sweet with them & always welcoming. 10/10.
I am so grateful to Serenity and Pauline for everything they’ve done for me! When I first saw them, I was with crippling anxiety and PTSD.
